DSHS Memory Care
Our Staff has DSHS training and certification on providing memory care for Alzheimer’s and Dementia. DSHS aims to provide training that prepares caregivers to provide a person with dementia care that maintains the highest possible quality of life and physical health while living with the losses typical of Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
A background check is performed for all staff members. Additionally, all Considerate Care AFH Caregivers must also obtain a Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) card with the Department of Social and Health Services.
Our goal is to always keep you informed on any changes to your loved ones mental health and wellbeing.
Nutrition Management
Our caregivers know that more often than not, a good home cooked meal can turn any bad day around in an instant. Our staff can handle all food service operations. From meal planning and scheduling, to coordinating individual dietary needs, while also incorporating cultural and ethnic preferences into the menu. We strive to always keep the choices delicious and exciting.
Appointment Management
Our Staff is more than happy to assist with all your health appointment needs. From scheduling appointments, ordering & picking up medications, all the way to arranging transportation to and from our facility. We can help!
Medication Management
Considerate Care AFH Caregivers are also DSHS trained in all medication management tasks.
